Steve Dunlop, Chief Executive Officer at FOR:EV has also joined Highland Renewables as a steering group member and ambassador.

Based in Scotland, FOR:EV owns, installs and operates high-quality, user-friendly EV charging points across the UK and has become the latest organisation to support Highland Tourism CIC’s Highland Renewables activity, as they come on board as a sponsor to boost sustainable tourism in the Highlands.

Yvonne Crook, Chair at Highland Tourism CIC and Highland Renewables said: “I am delighted that Steve Dunlop and the team at FOR:EV have joined us as sponsors of Highland Renewables.

“We’re living in an exciting time of change and opportunity here in the Highlands. Working together with organisations like FOR:EV, we can channel our energy, passion and expertise to realise our collective mission for the Highlands to become one of the world’s leading sustainable destinations – protecting our environment and ensuring the Highlands is a great place to live, work, study and invest in.”

Steve Dunlop, Chief Executive Officer at FOR:EV said: “I’m delighted that FOR:EV is able to sponsor Highland Renewables and that I have the opportunity to join the steering group at this exciting time for the organisation. The importance of sustainability to the core values and proposition for the Highlands’ tourism offer and to the future of economic prosperity as a whole is undoubted. Now is the time to really push this agenda forward and deliver the impacts that we all aspire to.”

Highland Renewables is a strategic partner of Highland Tourism CIC, a social enterprise established in March 2020 that brings together two of the Highland’s key economic sectors, tourism and renewables. The alliance supports investment in the region and aims to attract a new generation of tourists seeking more sustainable destinations, while reinforcing the position of the renewables industry as a dynamic contributor to the broader Highland economy. To date the CIC has invested £700k of private sector resources to develop its mission.
